WHRFC’s 1994 scholarship recipient was Dr. Lynda Balneaves whose research topic was ‘the use of alternative treatments of women diagnosed with breast cancer.’ Recently, Dr. Balneaves was appointed as the Director of the Centre for Integrative Medicine (CIM) at the University of Toronto.
